Cause:

Solution:

1) Open the desired database.
2) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
3) In the Database window, click the appropriate tab.
4) Select the table or query to save and open with Microsoft Word.
NOTE: To select a portion of a table or query, open the table or query in Datasheet view and drag the row selector to select the portion before continuing.

5) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'OfficeLinks'. (A submenu appears.)
6) Select 'Publish It With MS Word' from the submenu. (The data is saved to a rich-text format (.RTF) file in the folder where Access is installed, and Word automatically opens the file.)
